I can't speak for all of us, but I feel this will be a summer of many splendid movies. Here is my list of the 5 movies to see this summer.
1.) Spider-Man 3- We can only hope the 3 stands for the number of epic battles Spider-Man has against his villains.
2.) Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's End- Will Keira Knightley dress a bit sexier in this movie rather than wearing the clothes of a man?
3.) Evan Almighty- Something about Steve Carell and building an ark makes me believe this will be a great sucess.
4.) Transformers- Was I the only one that struggled with these toys?
5.) Fantastic 4- Rise of the Silver Surfer- As lame as I felt the first one was, I cannot pass another opportunity to oggle a 20 foot Jessica Alba.

All your movies are PG-13. Transformers is gonna suck cuz the focus is on some stupid human characters, not the bots. Plus the storyling is like "The Transformers have come from outer space to take over the world" And Michael Bay is in charge. Laaame.
Rob, I want you to look at the list and try to find 5 rated R movies...might be imposible, well atleast to find five ones worth seeing. That said, Spider-Man may be the best movie of the year. And I know you are not completely sold on Pirates, but those movies are just damn good wholesome entertainment. Knightley is just a plus. I also trashed Fantastic Four, and mainly the only reason to see that is Jessica Alba. As for Evan Almighty, I made the assumption it would be good before I saw the preview. After watching the preview it looks more like a movie I would take my 6 year old son to see, if I had a son. So basically it is all about Spidey.
Brian, you produced a pretty good list...if you are like every other Summer movie-goer! HA, but no it included 3 of my 5. I would also include Bourne Ultimatum and 28 Weeks Later (I'm a sucker for a good zombie movie) along with Transformers, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and Evan Almighty. I'm not all that excited for Spiderman 3 after the lukewarm reviews and only the small part that Venom plays. I want a whole movie on Venom!
Yes, Spiderman has gotten rotten reviews. I suggest you all check out the trailer from Judd Apatow (40 Year Old Virgin) called "Knocked Up." I'm willing to bet this will the summer comedy of note this year.
I did see the trailer for Knocked Up and had that movie on my top ten for the summer. Personally though, I'm not much of a fan of Katerine Heigel (?...the girl from Grey's Anatomy). However, it still looks funny.
Where's the love for Bourne Ultimatum?? How can you not be pumped for to find out who Jason Bourne really is and see him skillfully design escapes and kills?
Ben, I think you have been playing too much Splinter Cell with your "skillfully designed escapes and kills". However, I do agree with Bourne Ultimatum as I stated in a previous post.
